Социальная репрезентация через язык: теория и практика социолингвистики и дискурсивного анализа

Аннотация

В статье представляются динамика исследовательских подходов 2005–2020  гг. и  новые результаты в  изучении языка в  социуме. Анализируются теоретические положения и  методологический инструментарий американских и  западноевропейских исследовательских традиций  — социолингвистики, лингвистической антропологии и  интегрирующих их направлений дискурс-анализа. Современные научные школы и  ключевые исследования представлены в  США (M.Сильверстин, П.Эккерт, A.Ага), Великобритании (М.Бухольц, К.Холл, Н.Коупленд), Нидерландах (Я.Бломмарт), Австрии (Ю.Шпицмюллер, Б.Соукуп). Как центральные темы фокусируются социальная индексальность языкового знака, репрезентация социальных отношений между коммуникантами, этнометапрагматика и социостиль. Третья волна социолингвистики выдвинула новые задачи: изучение языковой вариативности как инструмента, активно используемого человеком / социальной группой для выражения и конструирования социального мира. Показывается, как реализуется «социальность» человека, активно действующего в  социуме, как порождаются семиотические связи между языковым знаком и его социальным значением, как создается устойчивая социальная атрибуция, наблюдаемая через конвенциональные образцы индексальных значений. Индексальность позиционируется как связь языкового знака с контекстом и как способность знака указывать на некоторую переменную этого контекста. Социальная индексальность способна актуализировать социальные смыслы, такие как формы идентичности, обусловленные ими коммуникативные роли и социальные отношения. Обращение к истории развития социолингвистики позволяет продемонстрировать динамику взглядов на связь языковых и семиотических явлений и идентичности: от статического взгляда на идентичность как задаваемую социальной структурой и  пассивно демонстрируемую индивидом через набор семиотических ресурсов, включая языковые, до современного понимания идентичности как целенаправленно стилизуемой в конкретных актах коммуникации. Доказывается, что одну из ключевых ролей в такой гибкости и подвижности играет этнометапрагматика — рефлексивная деятельность групп языкового коллектива по генерированию и переформулированию связей языковых знаков с социальными смыслами. В заключении демонстрируется преемственность данных теорий и методов и идей, высказанных отечественными исследователями в начале и середине XX в.
