Cтатья посвящена обзору и сопоставлению терминов и определений для основных понятий современного переводоведения в русскоязычном и международном англоязычном научном обиходе. Для анализа выбраны такие термины и связанные с ними понятия, как переводоведение, перевод, эквивалентность, трансформация, единица перевода.
