Cimbrians and Ancient Rome: The Second Part of “The Cimbrian Trail” by J. V. Jensen
Abstract
The article aims to analyze the second part of “The Cimbrian Trail”, which is a part of the epic series of evolutionary novels “The Long Journey” (1908–1922) in the context of the literary work of the great Danish writer and poet, the Nobel Prize winner Johannes V. Jensen’s (1873–1950). The article is primarily focused on the historical, philosophical and compositional components of the novel.
