О египетском происхождении названий и начертаний западно-семитских консонантных графем на примере буквы алеф (ˀaleph): филологический и исторический аспекты

Аннотация

В работе, написанной в соавторстве семитологом и египтологом, обобщены филологические и исторические данные, позволяющие сделать вывод о том, что западно-семитское консонантное письмо сформировалось в результате адаптации в Ханаане египетской практики записи иноязычной лексики, прежде всего семитского происхождения, использовавшейся во 2-й пол. II тыс. до н. э. («силлабическое письмо», или «новая орфография»). В 1960 г. В. Вайдмюллер выдвинул предположение о том, что названия западно-семитских букв восходят к техническим наименованиям знаков египетского силлабического письма. В работе приводится развернутая реконструкция египетского скорописного (иератического) и лексического (i.n=f) прототипа буквы ˀaleph.
